Ex Lord of the Universe reincarnates as 'inspirational speaker'...

prem rawat The purpose of This website: premrawat-exposed.co.uk is to discuss some of the contradictions and inconsistencies associated with Prem Rawat(Guru Maharaji) and his organisation The Prem Rawat Foundation. Although I think Prem Rawat has probably helped a lot of people in their lives, I still have many issues with his whole attitude and persona. Prem Rawat is in reality just another human being. He is NOT God incarnate. Since he is just another human being, I can't see any reason why he shouldn't be subject to scrutiny and analysis just like any other prominent public figure. I'm sure devout premies would disagree with this. The fundamental premise of their belief system which premies claim doesn't exist, is that Prem Rawat because of his supposed divinity is beyond the discussion and criticism that normal human beings are subject to. To suggest otherwise would be considered a heresy by most ardent Premies.

Some premies have said that Prem Rawat 'knows' who you really are even assuming that he's never even met you. Prem Rawat has said several times in The Keys(introductory DVDs) that he does NOT indeed know personally all of the people that watch the keys. He has also asked the question rhetorically - "Am I God?" To which he responded - "No, I am not God." So there we have it. From the man himself. Prem Rawat is NOT God: It's official. If this is the case, then it would a contradiction in terms to try and ascribe God like powers to somebody who by his own admission is merely human.

I'm very much in two minds about Guru Maharaji or Prem Rawat as he now likes to be called. On the one hand I think that the meditation techniques he teaches can be very beneficial. However, I feel he has an awful lot of skeletons in the closet and I have issues with the manner in which the whole thing is run. For example, I don't think The Keys really give anybody any idea what to expect when they eventually receive the knowledge. Whilst I fully appreciate that it is very hard or even impossible to describe a personal experience such as meditation, I feet that the Keys left me with as many questions as answers, because what he talks about in Keys 1 through 5 seem to have no obvious connection with Key 6.

I've been doing some research into 'The Knowledge' and it seems that the four meditation techniques revealed in Key 6 are really very common place in India. Indeed the Radhasoami Faith and literally hundreds of other Indian gurus use techniques which are practically identical to the ones taught by Prem Rawat. Why does Prem Rawat think that he has some copyright or ownership over these particular techniques? Also, the followers of Radhasoami believe that a true perfect master or Satguru should not accept any gifts of money, property etc from his followers or admirers. I wonder if Prem Rawat is aware of this? He has amassed enormous personal wealth, the vast baulk of which it would seem, consists of gifts and donations.

Prem Rawat's extremely controversial past is also covered on this set. Back in the 1970's somebody who threw a cream pie in Prem Rawat's face had their skull fractured by his thugs a week later. Prem Rawat tried to distance himself from the whole event, but he didn't exactly help the authorities regarding charging the premies responsible for the attack. Apparently, Prem Rawat also did nothing about the paedophile working in Divine light Mission who systematically raped and sexually assaulted children in the organization. Prem Rawat did not throw this person out when all this came to light and so it seems he's harboring a paedophile...
